Reef Crystals and Instant ocean now MAP priced

Learned at MACNA that reef crystals and instant ocean are now going to be MAP priced and looking at Amazon, this went into effect 10/1/2022…..no more 50.00 boxes of reef crystals. :-(

I just bought 6 bags for $9.09 a bag on Amazon during the prime sale last week.

Not even worth it to buy on Amazon In Canada lol.

I can get it from a reef supply store for $85-90 though at least.

MAP pricing or not… I’ve always been able to get a deal from a LFS… in some cases buying in bulk/pallets with friends.
Personally, I consider MAP pricing to be price fixing, and if possible I will avoid giving my $ to those price fixing companies!

I wonder if this could actually be a good thing? Look how much Amazon is pricing this at. What if map pricing keeps this at a reasonable price?
