Found this on a Site that sells Reef Crystals for a little over 34ppt Saltwater.

4-1/2 Cups per 10 Gallons
1 Kg. per 10 Gallons
36 oz per 10 Gallons
2-1/4 lbs. per 10 Gallons

10 Gallons equals 37.5 liters.

Most those numbers are grossly inaccurate, and it is easy to prove that. Where did they come from?

For example: 1 kg per 10 gallons cannot possibly be even close to accurate.

10 gallons is 37.85 liters.

34 ppt seawater has very close to 34 grams per liter of salts in it.

10 gallons (37.85 L) of that 34 ppt fluid thus must contain 37.85 L x 34 g/L = 1,287 grams of salts, or 1.29 kg.

The salts used in RC are not anhydrous, so there is substantial moisture present, and the actual amount of salt mix that needs to be added will be higher than this number, not lower. :)
