So the itc reef delete uvc pen has been out for a little while now and I wondered what the general consensus was on it. Im specifically interested in people's experiences using it for aiptasia, which is what I bought it for.
I will be honest I had one and didn't much like it so I sold it, but I wanted to see if other people had the same difficulties I did with It.

I'm hoping to rent a unit in the next week or so to try it out on some pulsing xenia that's decided to become a plague.
Ah yeah someone posted something about using it on xenia the other day over on their owners group on Facebook. Apparently 3 doses of 60 seconds each killed it.

I have version 2, it definitely kills astapia. Burnt a black hole where they used to be. They haven’t returned in those spots. Of course I put it as close to astapia as I can get. They start to back up and ball up, I just follow it close.

I'm curious was it able to kill the pulsing xenia's?
I also have some pulsing xenia's that's taking over

I let a few of the little suckers spread and ended up having to root them out manually with a razor blade (they were too close to some other really nice corals). I ended up taking a bunch of rocks out and manually hacking them off (several hours of my life that I'm not getting back).
