I thought this was going to be a post that you bought one for the frag tank. Any decision made on that?

I think it would be a little overkill for the frag tank, lol.... I am thinking I may get one of the ones you sent me the link for on ebay.

I know they have the same design as the swc, only problem is there is no air control valve. But from the threads of those using them they seem happy with them, and for a frag tank, they would be great.

These Reef Dynamics skimmers are nice, I just wonder why he is opposed to the cone shape.

More contact time. The reason for cone skimmers. from what I've read is smoother bubble transition but reef dynamics has a.special curved lip inside they claim allows for same smooth transition

Aquatic critter carries there bio pellet reactors in case some did know. I seen them two Fridays ago.

Like mike said, more contact time. In therory the larger chamber will have more bubble contact with the water in the chamber. then the top funnel will condense everything towards the cup.
