I'm going to start using the whole Red Sea Reef Care Program soon. In order for me to start Ill need to figure out how to set up dosing pumps with the Red Sea Energy A and B. They say to keep the bottles refrigerated. I was going to add a small compact refrigerator beside my tank and keep the bottles inside, run my dosing tubing inside while hooked up to a dosing pump outside. I have two questions....

  1. Will the liquid of Reef Energy A and B in the dosing lines that will be outside of the refrigerator turn bad?? I would assume it would be a few days for the liquid to sit in the line outside of the refrigerator before it is actually dosed to the tank. I'm looking to be dosing 25ml of each per day.
  2. Will both Reef Energy A and B need to be shook prior to dosing every time or could a shake every so often work?
I would love to try your products but if it cannot be automated I will unfortunately not be able to use the program.

You could measure how much liquid is in the tube outside the fridge (even just a test line) and see how how that compares to your 25ml and see how many days it would sit.

One of the parts appears to have tiny particulate (foods I'm assuming) you could look at a magnet stirrer to mix the bottle, before the doser is set to go off. How long of a tubing run will it take to get to the tank?

I read that too but did you notice the bottles were not sealed in anyway.

A doser such as the GHL Doser 2 can run in reverse. So you can set it up to dose and then clear the line.

I just dose by hand when I feed the fish. Honestly though I am not sure about the refrigeration requirement since as Chuckfu said the bottles weren't sealed when I get them. Why would it matter once I open it when that bottle definitely doesn't have an air tight seal when I got it.
