Ok my buddy broke down his tank and gave me this 2 part system from Red Sea. Now my tank is running great and corals look good. My nitrates are always very low and have to dose Stump Remover (Nitrates) to get it to stay stable around 5ppm.

Question is will i benefit from using this product? and should i use it even when everything is running great?

Will their be any negative effects from using it?

As far as I am aware off, dosing Reef Energy will have no negative effects.
Just don't overdo it. It is intended for additional growth and color,

I would also check with whatever you are currently adding, so you don't overdose some (trace) elements.
Amino acids and carbohydrates are the main component of Reef Energy, severly overdosing these will have little effect (slightly higher nitrates and minor algae) as they are relatively easily exported by your skimmer.
