I am going to start dosing reef energy a and b. I understand I cannot premix them.

I have one free dosing pump I can use for reef energy A.

Can I dose reef energy B with my ATO ?
My tank evaporates at a very consistent rate.
I could put a weeks worth of B into the RODI water.

Thanks,

Adam

Reef Energy A & B should be refrigerated after opening, so they aren't easily automatically dosed. You'll find some people that do it, but Red Sea's recommendation and the general consensus is that it should be refrigerated and dosed manually.

+1 as per @HolisticBear you need ideally to keep them refrigerated or they may start to go off and maybe form mould and this would almost certainly clog your doser at some point, and possibly the ATO tube.

I seem to think is has some little ‘bits’ in as well (I’ll need to check next time I dose it) which could also cause issues dosing it.

But having said all this, it’s your tank so maybe try and see how you get on and keep us posted.

And welcome to R2R as well!

To @HolisticBear and @SPR1968

Also: Refrigeration is half the problem, the other half is that they must be kept stirred.
I've seen users do it, but only in tiny bottles.
