Tell me about the UV sterilizer. Did you like it? what difference did it make? What model is it?

It's the coralife 9x or 16x iicant remember which one right off but can check, l ran it inline on my drains with a ball valve to divert the right amount of flow through it from my main line and have loved it. I have had it about a yr I believe the bulb is still good but not sure and bought it brand new. In the past I have had problems with algae and also a few outbreaks of fish disease and honestly it saved my tank the last time and I haven't had problems since. People say not to run up on reefs due to pods and stuff that's free floating and good for your tank but I have always thought the benefits outweighed the downsides
