The app seems to be the only real drawback for this companies products, so what’s up with it exactly?

Does it work problem free for some of you, do the problems start after an update, etc. looking at the App Store, doesn’t appear there has been an update to the app in over 8 months.

I’m wondering if it’s more to do with how people have their internet set up, and it’s not happy with the requirements that reef factory may have built in.

Does the app require 2.4 ghz Wi-Fi?

Also, are you only able to link/control these products using the app? They are not supported by the Neptune or hydros type controllers?

I had to set it up using the 2.4 wi-fi but can adjust settings on the higher wi-fi after that. I had to set it up again when the last update hit, but otherwise, runs like a champ. I don't have controller, so can't help you there.

What problem you having

I’m not. I’m interested in their products, but the reviews I’ve read seem to focus on the app and report how bad it is. Some to the point where they ended up selling their products. Since their products are mainly controlled via the app, I’m trying to understand what the app issues are.

I’ll tell you I’m running their products and the app have been great. I’ll be doing some videos soon. You can check out my Instagram to stay tuned. AcroKiller is my Instagram.

Look forward to it. When i finally found this product and started looking into what they offered, I was really impressed and thought I maybe found my go to brand for my new build.

What kind of network are you running these with?

Some of the complaints I’ve heard seeemed to have trouble connecting and they were using a mesh network at their location. I run a mesh network as well. Hence my reservations.

I have ATT fiber as well. I have a single dosing pump. When I first tried to set it up, it took multiple attempts before I got it. I would say it didn't take too long (part of what took some time was my fault. I mounted it before I had it set up, so O had to unmount so I could scan the code). It has since worked flawless for me
