I LOVE new tank builds and I am always thinking of a better way to enjoy my reef.

I am always contemplating adding this or taking away this. Is anybody else as reef fickle as me?

Currently I am thinking of going to all T-5's from LED's. What about you? :D

I'm torn on how to stock my new tank. My #1 idea would be all sps and zoas with a few lps but I'm considering the "easier" route of large soft corals and anemones. I CAN'T DECIDE! lol

I hear you! it seems like every time my tank is settled in healthy and looking good I "start over" this happens every year or so I will go from sps dominated to lps and softies or from peaceful to aggressive fish, sumpless tank to sump skimmer,ca reactor or back .............

I have to have more than one tank or I would just kill everything because I cant leave it alone

my biggest thing right know is replacing my mh with t5s or leds would love to go leds just for the energy savings and low heat but the cost is a killer

I seem to continuiously be changing my mind and thinking about different things of what I want to add or not. With lighting I have been bouncing back and forth between doing LEDs or T5s, right now I am set on the idea of doing LEDs but I am sure that before I even upgrade my lighting I will start thinking about doing T5s again.

Does this mean more money!?! How come I always find things out on R2R?!?!

I'm just trying to leave mine alone at this point, there's too many corals/fish I want and not enough tank

LOL, gives you time to digest and think about it before being able to react ;)

I think about changing stuff up but then get nervous to do it and never do.. lol until recently! I just sold my 14inch red cap to make room for more acros, re aquascaped half of my rock work, changing my lighting for 2 X 250 MH to LED (2 radions later this week :xd:), put mirical mud in my refugium, and selling 3 of 4 of my tangs.. The tangs part is sad for me but they need more room and I just need to deal with it.. lol Oh, almost done with my tank stand that has been in the works for over a year.. lol Just no time to finish it with work and all.. next project is to re plumb the pips going from my DT to sump..

I am so happy with my current tank I am now building another which is putting me in a pickle with my wife! Lol

Just set up another tank with your new changes! Unfortunately soon your home starts to look like an LFS but I'm OK with that.

I love my T5 fixture. I'm pretty fickle about my tank too. I'm always back and forth with purchases... I have several frags on my sandbed I need to move to a permanent place at some point.

I am the worst offender. I just tore apart my 300 gallon reef 2 weeks ago, the entire thing. I bought a koi pond to hold my corals and fish while I redid the aquascape. I wanted to do a minimalistic scape. When I finished, I had so many corals I couldn't fit them back on the rocks, lol. I had to redo it again. It did come out real nice though but it was a huge project. I am glad I did it now, but I am never satisfied with my tank.

I'm only fickle about wanting a bigger tank. I like to leave things as is for the most part in the tank and I try to keep my equipment the same. I am always worried that I might mess something up by changing something and right now things are going so well I wouldn't want that. On the other hand my wife always comes in and finds me tinkering with something tank related so I guess I am fickle, but just dont realize it yet. I just don't prefer major changes such as lighting or flow or system setup.

Currently looking at how I can change my lights or add more leds to it plus looking into redoing my scape possibly

I used to be like that. But now that stuff is really taking off growing, I know better than to disturb it too much and I am now content with my rock structure and what I have. Yeah, there are a few SPS that make my heart melt and I would love to have them (and chalices too!) but I am content with what I've been blessed to have thus far.
