Reef fish

This tank is about 2 months old. Should I wait on tangs and start with something more hardy?
while not imperative, the better water quality in addition diet you provide- the better this type of fish will thrive for you and long term
Also, having six of them- caution with yellow tangs which can be very uninviting to new arrivals, at times even non-tangs

Call the Tang Police now...I have a Yellow Eye Kole Tang ...aka bristletooth tang in my 40B right now..2 Clowns and a Midas Blenni...all doing great,,but the R2R tang police say I'm a bad man!!

Which one do you use?
Hanna checkers are the hobby go to for digital readings. Hanna phosphate checker and alkilinity checker are the most popular. High range nitrate is also well liked.

100g is big enough for a tang. Tomini, Convict are well natured and good for that size. Yellow or Purple would work but are more agressive. People often add tangs later in the stocking process as they are generally more agressive.
