Any one use Reef Flux and vibrant together. I have been trying to clear an aquarium of pest algae. I have been trying o get rid of Bryopsis or GHA, bubble alage, grape caulerpa, halimeda algae. I removed my chaeto and have in a bucket with water.

I have used vibrant every other week, sporadically.
I treated it with Reef Flux Sunday and I have been syphoning out all algae.
Good Idea to use Reef Flux and vibrant together?

How much caulerpa? Some species of it will be killed by reef flux, which could cause you an ammonia issue if you have so much.

I used reef flux in past for eliminate GHA, but last time did not work as well like las time, so I used vibrant 2 twice a week and after 8 week cleaned my frag tank

Thanks. I have been manually removing algae. Also I have a 8 x 8 marine pure block in my sump.
I don’t think about ammonia but I will.

After 9 weeks of Vibrant and no GHA dead, if fact it looked healthier than ever. On what would have been week # 10(last Saturday) I dosed Reef Flux and the GHA is dying like no tomorrow.

Using vibrant now for bubble algae, and it definitely killed the Chaeto. Turned light colored then white so I removed it.

I am referring to flux rx not vibrant. Vibrant, from my understanding, can strip waste levels so low to where people end up with dead macro or cyano and dinos if nitrate and phosphate are not closely monitored during dosing.
