Im running an ATS and it it finally taking off. I have an sps 150 gal and corals are looking better than ever. Issue is I have noticed small bryopsis filaments growing slowly around my ATS, only in the sump area where the red light bleeds. The display tank is free from any algae.
I would like to take care of this bryopsis before it takes over or maybe gets to the main display. It is weird though none of it is in the main system. I have tangs but doubt they eat it as it seems to be bitter to them. I think it might have gotten bryopsis in my system through a clam that I got from a grower.
Anyways I read Reef HD Flux is very effective, was wondering if it would also end up killing algae from my scrubber? Needless to say this stuff is completely safe on sps?
