So iv been out of the hobby for a little while now, maybe 6 months or so sense i tore down my 125G. I saved a couple of items in case i ever decided to throw together another tank and yesterday came across a deal on a tank i couldnt walk away from. so naturally my wife is ticked lol. anyway to my question, one of the things i saved was a reef keeper controller, the controller its self works fine its the probes im worried about. i know the ph probe is shot as the storage solution dried up in storage but the temp probe i am unsure about. does a temp probe need to stay wet like a ph probe does or should it be alright still? i could plug it in and test but am still waiting to get a thermostat with my order for the rest of the stuff needed to setup so figured i would ask here.

Congrats on the new tank.. Your temp probe should be fine they don't need to stay wet.

Temp probe probably ok. Ph probe may need to be replaced for accuracy. I may even have a spare one available
