I just recently obtained a Reef Keeper Elite head unit.
(I presently have the Reef Keeper Lite.)

I was wondering if there's a way to transfer the settings for my modules, timers, etc. from the Reef Keeper Lite to the Reef Keeper Elite.

Thanks in advance for any help, info, or advice.

Sorry, but unfortunately there is no way to do that. You will need to reprogram everything. Before you connect the RKE head unit, make sure that you update the firmware on each module that you have, including the RKE head unit. Once you do that, connect it all together and perform a factory reset. There are a few settings stored in some of the modules that you need to clear out. Also, The RKE does not work with the iTemp probe. If you were using an iTemp probe with your RKL, you will need to switch over to a regular temp probe utilizing one of the System Lab modules such as the SL1, SL2v2, or SLX. If you have any troubles feel free to PM me here or post a message on the DA support forum.

Thanks for the reply.

Can I use the iTemp probe that came with my ReefKeeper Lite as long as I connect to the SL1 module that came with my ReefKeeper Lite setup?

(Now if tech support at DA would answer their phone or at least return phone messages.)

You can use the probe, but you would need to change the connector on it. The SL1 uses a Molex 2 pin connector and the iTemp version has an RJ11 phone jack on it. The probe itself is the same either way. The temp probes are pretty cheap. I would just buy a new one. Those Molex connectors are kind of a hassle to put on.
