Reef led 50 not working.

When I open the app it says syncing and never connects. Internet is fine. And I’ve reset it. Power is fine and I have reset that as well. Other smart items are working.

I did a hard reset and reconnected it. It’s working now.

My Red Sea LED looses connection occasionally (once a month or so). I had to do a hard reset to reconnect. Apparently connection issues are somewhat common with those LED's.

It doesn’t seem as bad now as it was 6 months or more ago as Red Sea addressed some issues with firmware upgrades. I have 3 RL90s first installed in Feb. Initially I had a few issues, had to factory reset one and reconnect it, but after firmware upgrades in Mar they have been stable. Last week one dropped out but a power cycle fixed that.

When you say hard reset are you referring to the 15 sec hold or something else? I haven't been able to connect my light yet and waiting for RS to respond to an email isn't helping right now..
