reef link trouble

to say the least the reef link has to be the most annoying product i have ever purchased..
stupid thing sometimes when i unplug it to do maintenance it disconnects from my wifi and i cant even reconnected not even thru dls cable on the back. any wayt to get it to connect again i tried the following steps
unplugging
it waiting 1 minute and conected back . nothing
taking it to the router and conected manually nothing
i hate this product so much
should i just factory reset the thing and connect it back again.. and when i do do this it wont even connect.....
the rings are yello and green and then a bit of red

Make sure the firmware is up to date and consider an Ethernet connection rather than wireless.
