In my 8 years of reef keeping, I have always kept a log for each tank. It really helps you to get a better understanding on whats going on with your tank. It kinda paints a picture. Here is a log sheet if anyone wants to print them out. Right click on picture / save picture as / save. Happy Reefing!

That is really cool I have been wanting a copy of this myself. Thanks

Zacco, i'm liking your log sheet. i come from the corporate pharmaceutical research side of the business, where it was required that everything be written in notebooks. So my "log sheet" is actually kept in notebook form. Whatever works for keeping records.

I highly recommend some form of record keeping. I know I can't rely on my memory of last week's test results, or the last time I changed RO filters, or GFO or Carbon.....you get the idea........KEEP SOME TYPE OF NOTES!

I keep a notebook for all major changes, testing, water changes, etc. I also keep a tumblr for my tank where I talk ad nauseam about my tank and all the things happening. I do strongly suggest everyone keep something that keeps track of what is happening.
