Looking for owner opinions/reviews. Looking to upgrade from 125 gallon that is running off of 2 407s and a HOB skimmer. I’ve had the tank for a year but want to go a little bigger and cut back on some of the time I spend on maintenance.

I wanted to go with the Cade 1800 S2. I love the stand and mechanical layout and access it offers. But we would only have an option for 220 gallons at the largest.

My husband wants the Waterbox LX 320. 100 extra gallons means room for a lot more cool tank critters. However, I’ve heard a lot of negatives about Waterbox.

Looking for reviews or opinions from folks that may have either of these tanks. What did you like and what did you not like?

thanks so much!

Get the Cade and don’t look back. I don’t think you’ll be happy with the quality of the Waterbox stand (very IKEA-like apparently). Everything about the Cade is superior: tank design, ATO, overflow, plumbing, manifold, stand, accessibility, etc.

While I have a Red Sea 750XXL (200-gallons), I really wanted a Cade (not available in Canada) - so Waterbox would be my last choice.
