Hello fellow reefers!
So here’s a post of my reef lx, it’s about 8 months in and all is well for the most part besides a tiny Dino outbreak. Pretty sure it’s directly related to my skimmer overflowing and dumping half a cup of brown sludge into the sump.
So I’ve just been working tirelessly to nip this outbreak on the but to get my tank back to where it was before the nastys showed up. Lowered the light intensity, and shortened the time on. Have gfo, carbon, and purigen running as well as my sterilizer working over time. Also running my tank on the high ph side( my sps love it 8.55- 8.4) but also read higher ph helps with Dino’s as well? Let’s hope so ha!
Keeping my fingers crossed that this battle is won sooner rather than later.
