Thinking of doing some microscopic snooping on the reef? Anyone have a favorite scope to recommend?

I can recommend a super cheap one if you're wanting to try one out to see if it's something you think you'll use.

I used this one to ID the dinoflagellates I was fighting. Worked really well for an $11 microscope! I've used it since then to ID diatoms and a couple other misc things.

Well, I am joking. But have you ever seen any piece of reef equipment for $10.99 except maybe a fishnet.
 
I think I also scored a 2-pack of veggie-clips for around $10.

Haha, I hear that. That microscope was probably one of 3 things I ever bought for the tank where I went as cheap as possible, but I'm glad I did.
