my skimmer is driving me insane with vibration/humming. It hasn’t been perfect up to this stage and couldn’t even hear it but recently it’s become very noisy where I Can hear it over the tv.
I have taken it apart, cleaned and tightened everything and the noise is still there.

Any advice please?

Hey, same problem here. It's a great skimmer but the vibration is terrible... I have also cleaned it. So help and advice is welcome..[emoji106]

Is it vibrating against the sump or is it the noise coming from the unit itself? If it is against the sump, you can try putting a silicon pad underneath to absorb some of the vibration. There really is no reason for there to be vibration since the only moving part is the pump (in which case I would take a look at the pump itself).

Nope I've tried lifting it so it's not touching anything, same noise.
I've taken it apart fully, checked nothing was in jamming in the pump also

My 110sss did the same thing. Silent for so long, but then vibrations crept in. Ended up replacing it with a RO regal 150SSS which has the DC Varios 4 and have been very happy with no noise and far greater controllability.

I’ve probably had this skimmer less than 4 months.
