So I have had my Reef Octopus skimmer for about 2 months now and I run it for about two when I fisrt got it to get it broken it. Last week u started cycling my tank (54 gal corner) and after the first week I plugged in my skimmer to let it get settled into the sump if you will. Mainly I wanted to run it to make sure it was good and broken in when I start putting livestock in the tank. Well long story short after a week of running it has started making a buzzing sound. Seems to be coming from the pump side of my skimmer. Is there anything I can do to quiet it down or do you think it will settle in on it on? Right now I have it sitting on the floor of the sump because I got the baffel measurement set to the 7" mark that it was running best at during break in. Thanks for your help guys..
