I love this skimmer, until I tried to clean it. I guess I didn't realize that the body is completely glued together permanently? Seriously?

am I missing something here? a hidden titanium screw somewhere? The outer ring of the bubble plate with holes blocks all access to the bottom of the skimmer body.

I mean I can soak the thing in vinegar for days, if you can't wipe it down that is kind of a problem for me. My last skimmer came completely apart so you could clean it, and this just doesn't seem right for such an expensive skimmer. :-/

please tell me there is an easy solution here...

just had chat with BRS and they confirmed. just use a really narrow brush LOL yea right

and oh great, just my luck. it looks like only the Regal 150 EXT has this issue? the other sized models don't have the same bubble ring blocking access to the bottom. wish I knew this before I bought it. really poor design, IMO

Skimmer works great, but....
