Replaced our protein skimmer yesterday
to a reef octopus 2000 HOB. It seems to be creating a tonne of micro bubbles. Is this normal or is something wrong?

It can produce a lot, make sure utilize the sponges around the outtake. That should help decrease micro bubbles.
