Reef Octopus 200int water level?

Where do you guys run the water level on your reef octopus int 200? I’m running the pump at full speed and it is still very dry skimmate unless the water level is really high on the neck.

skimmer should be placed at 7.5" - 8.5". I'm with vetteguy53081, i have mine at 8"
