I picked up an in-sump bio pellet reactor reef octopus 90 INT. Its for my 75 gallon tank 20 gallon sump. I put 250 ml of ecobak bio pellets in it and kicked it on. I only started off with 250 ml as i want to ease into the use of biopellets. I planned on adding more in the next couple weeks, 440 ml total.
The bio pellets are currently spinning in a small tornado very rapidly. There are currently about an inche or so worth of pellets at the top of the unit, pinned by the rapid flow.
I talked to coral view, they said i have to use their pellets as they are bigger. BRS told me to put a gate valve in between the pump and the unit.
Looking to see if anyone has any other ideas or solutions to my problem.
