I have a Reef octopus Automatic Neck Cleaner model: OCT-170 that came out from my xp-2000int. It got new ac motor. $100 shipped.

Can you please provide the diameter of the circle/channel that fits over the skimmer cup lid as well as the width of the cleaning blade. I'd like to see if it would fit another brand skimmer and I can't find the info on the reef Octo site.

for your skimmer you will need the 250 model: Octopus Cleaner 250 fits: SRO5000(int/ext/sss), NWB/DNWB250, XP5000(int/ext/sss), XS250, EXT250 , EXT300, EXT350, DCS 250, DCSR 250ext, Regal 250(int, sss, ext), Hurricone Cat 2(int/ext)

no, bud that is an optical illusion created by the acrylic ring on the lids of the reef octopus skimmers LOL
