Reef Octopus Bulkhead Question

Has anyone ever used these? I see that they are the only sch80 that will fit my 1" drain and return. I measured the holes in the bottom of my tank with a digital caliper and they are 44mm. These bulkheads are listed on CoralVue's website and are for holes 43-44mm. I don't want to risk the chance of a leak/crack from an ABS bulkhead. Just want to know if these are good or what you guys would recommend. Thanks in advance for the help.

IMO there is no need for that. I've never had an issue with a properly installed bulkhead.
