Reef Octopus Classic 200int reviews

Found a used one online for $250. Retails for about $420 plus tax where I’m from. What do you think? It’s rated
150g of heavy stock, 200 med, 250 light. Will have it in 110g heavy stocked tank. Read it’s best to go double DT volume. Is this overkill? I know reef octopus is a trusted brand. Anything I should know?

The pump mine was replaced with is a sicce and its not jebao cheap. But that pump is also out of commission now due to electricity leaking.

Yup disappointed me. Now its converted to use air stones and actually works better than before lol

The SRO 200 comes with a bubble blaster pump that works great.

The problem with sicce pump was the impeller, and that problem was resolved. Have had the old/no good version of that pump working for a decade without issue. Have my diablo 225, which is nearly identical, working for gotta be 15 years, did have to replace impeller...Still love it.

The one I had was a varios pump. It was a beast.

I liked bubble mag nac9 & curve 9 (rock sp4k pump) as well. Right now I have a seaside aquatic es9 (psk pump) which I think is very nice.

My buddy has a coral box cloud 9 he swears by but its jebao dcs4k pump.

These are probably overkill but they have smaller versions that might interest you.

If the 200int has the varios for $250 and looked decently taken care of I'd say thats a good deal

It's got an aquatrance aq3000s pump. I just found out the seller got it used 4 mths ago and says it doesn’t fit in her sump so she only uses it once a week. What?!? How does she use it if it doesn’t fit? I’m so lost
