Reef Octopus Elite 150-5 adjust pipe issue

Anyone have the Reef Octopus Elite 150-S and have a problem with the t-joint moving along with the adjust pipe when moving it? From what i read, the arrows on the skimmer base and t-joint should align and stay that way, then the adjust pipe should turn on its own to adjust the water level. Mine obviously doesn’t do that correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes. They sent me a replacement T...same issue. Now I just hold the white plastic while I adjust the vertical tube.

IIRC...they got bought out...and then I think they "redesigned" it.
