I got this new skimmer (very nice) but I want to run and recirculate the air and the air intake is in the collar of this thing - so I’m going to take the air in-line, disconnect it from the collar then pipe it to my scrubber and recirculate. My question is I need a valve to control air intake - will this work?

I use this valve to control flow on my scrubber and don’t see why it wouldn’t work? Any ideas? Pros or cons?
