Reef Octopus BH-800S hang on back skimmer.

Unit sat in original packaging for last couple of years. First video shows unit being used out of box on about 20 gallons of water drained from my display and some skimmate poured into the tub. Skimmer started pulling stuff immediately.
Second video shows unit on the side of my display after a vinegar bath. Unit is not pulling anything as I have a SRO-3000int in my sump (on a 125g display) and I try not to overfeed my system.
I have added fittings to make startup easier on unit. The only thing I can think of that is missing is the sponge that would sit in the last chamber...threw it out, just collected debris over time and I would forget about it.
