Reef Octopus HOB-100 Question

The water level in the return chamber on my Skimmer has been gradually getting higher and higher over the last couple of weeks. It's not to the point of overflowing, but I'm afraid that'll happen at some point.

At first I thought it was the sponge causing the problem so I removed it - this didn't really help.

The Skimmer seems to be working well although it does skim a little wetter when the water level rises.

Any ideas on how I might remedy this issue?

I had this skimmer before.Mine got about half inch to the top.I just shut it off and put water in the skimate holder chamber to prime it again.I this it proably has a bubble thats causing the water to raise to top.

I was kind of thinking it my be a bubble too, but I can't seem to find a pipe cleaner to fit all the way down that outlet tube.

I've turned it on and off and it kind of just comes back to that same level.
