Reef octopus hob 90 ext biochurn pellet reactor

Anyone have any tips on how to unclog the ports on the bottom plate? I've messed with it for a while and cannot figure out how to work on that part. Any tips are greatly appreciated. Currently running reactor empty with vinegar/water.

Maybe try adding more flow? Bacterial mulm can clog it up quickly. Not to familiar with that model but our old reef octopus bio pellet reactor clogged constantly.

Ran it full blast for a week with vinegar water combo and that seemed to clear most of the ports. Will see how long it lasts.
