I am looking for a media reactor with a built in pump for my 70 gallon tank to run GFO. Has anyone tried the Reef Octopus mf-300? Does anyone have any good recommendations?
Thank you

DIY... Get a see through 6-12 in. Canister with a screw on flat lid. Drill two 1/2in. Holes on lid, one close to center but leaving enough space to drill a second hole. The hole close to center run your 1/2in or sow tubing n the other will be your return hole to sump pump returning to aquarium or directly to your aquarium. Make sure that on your return tubing from inside of lid you put foam so your GFO don't escape into aquarium. ...but so you know to my findings my phosphates. Nitrites n nitrates numbers came down close to zero.. By 1-2 points away from zero. Might work for you. Oh also don't tumble fast tumble slow-medium. And it did it for a total of 90gal of water... FYI GOOD LUCK BUDY

Yes very cost efficient yet works great, looks not the best probly. Then again works. Or you can purchase one for 60to100+$$$$ or save if not rich like me
