I just purchased this skimmer and I'm having a very hard time keeping it quite. I've read that there is a new style restricted silencer that fixes the problem. I stuffed some paper towel down into one of the silencer holes and the sound is great. This makes me think I have the old style. Is there a way to tell which I have and is this my issue?
