Selling a Reef Octopus Regal 200 Space Saver Skimmer
In use for 13 months, runs perfectly and is in excellent cosmetic condition. Selling only because I downsized to a 40g breeder reef tank. Overall a great skimmer, I would place it in the top 5 of all skimmers I have used, and I have owned many. Uses Varios DC controllable pump, which itself runs silent. Noise level from other parts (foaming, air silencer) I would call very quiet and silent in stand. I run a silent tank so any noise sticks out and this does not. Produces great skimmate, whether you skim wet or dry, with very precise control through the gate valve. Breaking down and cleaning is similar to any modern skimmer, with the pump being screwed into the bottom the only extra step. Has auto shutoff with all parts for that as well. Has been thoroughly cleaned and is ready for immediate use. Will be shipped broken down in original box.
