Reef Octopus Skimmer turn pipe issue

I'm hoping someone has run into this issue before.

When I adjust the turn pipe to control water level in the skimmer chamber, sometimes the Tee at the bottom turns with the pipe. The result is that then my adjustment didn't really do anything. The Tee (circled in yellow) is supposed to stay fixed when i adjust the turn pipe. Anyone have a fix for this? I was thinking maybe some pvc primer would work.

hi, have you looked at a parts diagram ?
tee may not be seated on bottom 0 ring ??

Have this exact issue right now after buying this skimmer, and can’t seem to find a fix. Did you discover anything??

Same issue for me. They sent a replacement...but it appears to be redesigned...and it doesn't work like it used to.

i just use 2 hands. 1 hand to hold the pipe on the bottom and another to turn
