reef octopus skimmer

hello,

i want to ask about the reef octopus
i found a skimmer 300-E
is it same as the 300-EXT

also is the 300sss same but the different is one external and the other internal ?
other than that both do same job ? or there is something better than something?

cuz i got offer in both 300-e and another 300sss
what should i pick ?
for the place i have for both

My understanding is that the footprint is the main difference (Regal 300-E = 20.1x17.5 in.; Regal 300-S = 15.2x13.0 in.). If you have room then personally I would select the external in order to have more room in the body of the skimmer. Either way, they both are amazing skimmers!

Yes, that is my understanding. They appear to use the names interchangeably on the #reefoctopus website. They also appear to use the 300-S and 300-SSS interchangeably as well (the "s" stands for space saver).
