Reef octopus skimmer

I have a reef octopus skimmer 150, it’s about a month old , for some reason the bubbles in the main just go all the way down to the bottom when I haven’t touched it like it’s losing pressure. The float valve isn’t off either.

Check the inlet. possibly clogged. Have you taken it apart to check for blockage?

No I haven’t. The bubbles come back up within a couple of minutes. I have the smaller air tube on there should I try the bigger one.
