I am just finishing up my first year within the hobby, I love it, the ups and downs. Even though I have experienced some failures along the way it only makes my appreciation for a beautiful tank more entrenched. I wanted to share with you all a spreadsheet I created in excel, and ask for any recommendations on how to make it better potentially. I wanted a way of tracking my tank progress, for better or worse to see trends over time.
I am willing to bet there is already something better out there, but I do have this connected to my onedrive and I am able to get it on any device I want to input information to IE my phone. Also feel free to look it over and see my ups and downs. I don't believe anyone is perfect at this or those that are have a long history of failures and they learn from them.

I downloaded an app on android called ReefLog. It contains parameter logging, suppliment calculator, and a bunch of other stuff I haven't even ventured into yet lol. I see nitrate starting to climb, is that because you were adding fish to the tank? Other then that all your levels seem pretty constant

Yes I added the Sailfin from my friend. He is a very big fish, I kinda figured my nirates were going to climb. I'm hoping those will be under control with the new H380 on my refugium, especially since I want to switch to Triton. Thanks! the one time it wasnt consistent this summer I lost so much SPS it was heartbreaking.

Absolutely! I hope that I set myself up for success with what I am doing, and I keep my eye on the type of tank I want and how I want it to look, I know I will achieve it.

I'm hoping that this document will help some others if they don't already have something similar. If you have any ideas that can be added to this let me know! Not sure if you realized but there is a graph page as well which pulls information from the main page and shows you how consistent you are over time!
