Reef parameters

Hey all. I'm wondering if I need to work on anything in my parameters. Few of my corals are not doing so well. Mostly my candy cane coral. No sps in the tank but I'd like to get some but want to make sure my parameters are good. Thanks in advance

Phosphate: test didn't pick up on any. Got cheto in sump and protein skimmer.

I recently moved my candy canes higher in my aquarium and they are doing a lot better. I also run my aquariums a little dirty with phosphates from .05 to .09, but I do have to battle algae

Water appears too clean indicating a new(er) tank?
Candy cane- Mid tank under moderate, not bright lights and moderate water flow. Feed 2-3X per week

I like the Apex readings but many out there not accurate. May I suggest to take a water sample to a trusted LFS to compare with your readings and to see what they come up to assure you are getting accurate Apex readings.
My salinity has been off for some time ( showing higher than it is and also temp by 2 degrees
