Have you enabled the lighting capability from Configuration -> Settings -> Capabilities ?
Once you do that you have to reload reef-pi (Configuration -> reload)

I see ec being useful as a backup to other ato sensors. Salinity drops to low ato off. If say you had an optical sensor as main on/off, float valve as back up, third failsafe would be the ec reading.

You can. But EC changes can be triggered by other factors as well right?
I do not want to adding more sensor necessarily improve reliability. There are many failure stories even after 3 sensors being employed for some of the commercial ATOs. What I think will be cooler, is that we build system that can learn the periodicity and trigger alert when things are out of bound.

That said, I hope the support for multiple sensors and SDK (programmable reef-pi) would allow builders are to configure the ATO as their heart's desire.

Its ok, do a hard refresh (Ctl+Shift+f5), and it should come right back up

On the temperature topic, the weekly chart shows 1 degree daily temperature swing for the 29G biocube, though the per minute chart for last three hours is much more stable

The pico tanks are exactly opposite, their overall temperature does not show any daily swing (large enough like 1 degree that I am seeing for the 29G cube), but their per minute temperature show less frequent (30 min interval) but more pronounced (0.2-0.3 degree changes).

The main difference that I am seeing is heater on time. I know once things warm back up here in the south, I will see much more variability.

What would be the possibility of having a line on the light chart in the main display to show current time and settings?
Basically the same one that shows up when you hover over the chart, but persistent, and not just at the settings intervals

You have to break it down in simpler sentences for me . I like where this is going. I want to ship some feature to allow building custom dashboards

Curious, what the size of your tank, and heater spec ? Do you think you need more powerful heater?

It should already be possible, you don’t have to do anything extra. Type raspberry pi IP in browse of any device in the same network

90gallon with a 250W heater. I dont think a larger heater is necessary, though I may add a second for redundancy. A few weeks ago we had the coldest week that we have had in a long time, and the tank temp never dropped. Though the house heater was running overtime as well (you dont get the same heat intensity out of a heat pump as a gas furnace). Granted the heater was running almost constantly, but winter just is not that long down in south Mississippi. The rest of the year it will be more of a heat issue.
I am perfectly content with the stability that I have had with this heater running on reef-pi.

I am thinking that a vertical line would move down the x-axis along with the time of day, and the current values would be reflected in a text box.
Mostly just to reflect where you are in your light cycle

I'm trying to get TOR set up for remote access. I have edited the torrc file, but I cannot find the hidden_service directory.
I have also tried to put the directory under pi, rather than under home.
I have tried both through SSH and vnc to find the file, and allowed viewing of hidden files, but to no avail.

Also, with the newer releases of reef-pi do we still need the port 8080 since that has been removed for local access?

Port is 80 with new release . If you are enabling https then it will be 443
