Can you refresh your browser by pressing f5 or shift +f5 ? Your ui is showing you are still on 0.4.So let me paraphrase AshwinRavi and Ranjib's thoughts (sorry I am a writer and a little OCD about procedures).
I stop reef-pi. (sudo systemctl stop reef-pi.service) - Reef-pi is still displayed, just not working\active.
2. download the latest release for pi3 from the link Ranjib provided ( https://github.com/reef-pi/reef-pi/releases/tag/0.5)
3. unpack it after placing it in your desired folder, for me i have it in Documents (sudo dpkg -i /home/pi/Documents/reef-pi-0.5-pi3.deb)
4. restart reef-pi (sudo systemctl start reef-pi.service) - also can be done from UI system tabl by pressing "reboot"
5. restart raspbian just to be sure - stop and start raspberry pi - reef-pi should automatically restart immediately afterward
6. and check if reef-pi is working (sudo systemctl status reef-pi.service)
Is what I added correct?
I noticed this morning that I am only displaying two tabs. Are only the tabs that are in use displayed? Before I restarted (still on 0.4), all tabs were displayed.
Ranjib, Also if you remember you asked me to change to eth0 to try to fix the ip address log error. That did not work.

This is not a pressing problem, but I thought I should share it. I will upgrade later this evening or tomorrow morning.
thanks everyone.
sudo apt-get remove reef-pi -y -f —purge
also , regarding the eth0, I see the system page still showing eth0 as the interface, change it to wlan0 , then click on the update button , followed by reload button. Then refresh your browser to see the effect@Cary onlybthe capabilities that are enabled from system tab will be appearing as tabs. You have to refresh web browser every time those are changed , to see the effect
For my browsers, it was Ctrl + F5 for refreshCan you refresh your browser by pressing f5 or shift +f5 ? Your ui is showing you are still on 0.4.
I would add another step on after step 2 and before 3
Code:sudo apt-get remove reef-pi -y -f —purge
That did not seem to work on mine I right clicked the tab and selected reload..but I will add all input. For my browsers, it was Ctrl + F5 for refresh

Added in my TODO list for docs. This is definitely required before 1.0 release. Thanks for suggestingRanjib, would you like to add the step by step process in upgrading to a new release to the guides? If so, which one would you like. I am thinking troubleshooting or a guide with a new name, like "upgrade reef-pi to a new release".
Do you like the new interface? I think it was @Ryan115 who had the idea for showing assigned outlets in equipment tab, I extended that to timer tab as well, which now shows schedule details along with the equipment and actionI loaded 0.5 and checked the logs. that IP address error is gone and all is right with the world.
thanks
