reef-pi :: An opensource reef tank controller based on Raspberry Pi.

I see on some screenshots there is an edit button, but on my version there is only a red X. Is there an easy way to see the version.
I can not edit them, the reverse was there when I set it up.

The dashboard says running 1.0 if that is the version. I am on a 3B+
Hmm..that’s very old .all the new stuff (like edit features ) are available in only 2.0 series. You’ll have to delete and do a fresh installation for upgrade

If you are comfortable with command line foo, I think there’s a way to update the outlet via api , using curl in command line. Let me know if you are up for that, I can share examples

Yeah . Try recreating everything[/QUO

My upgrade I must have done incorrect, as it it remembered my old connectors and has them locked in use. ( I could reverse them now and edit, but wont delete) I also can not add devices or get the temp probe working now that had been correct. Is there a command line to delete everything so I can start over?

Yes. This is what I was trying to say. Just stop reef-pi and delete the data base (mentioned as resetting database under troubleshooting guide here: https://reef-pi.github.io/additional-documentation/troubleshooting/)

I just did this it states that it is up and running, the are no errors in the journal, but I can not access the browser connection anylonger it says unreachable, both trying the pi IP and the name.local. This just changed after resetting the DB, prior it was connecting fine. Thoughts?

What’s the log saying ?

I think I am working again, I bounced to the 2.0 Alpha, then back to the 2.0 full release and all is running fine. Very strange, but atleast now i'll get some sleep, work in 5 hours eek. Thanks so much for the help will update progress tomorrow.

Thank You, nothing to be sorry about, I was the person that installed the old version to start. Just glad it is running, just tested the email alert. Worked terrific. Now to bed, i hope this is too much fun!
