Reef pi ato with 2 sensors

Hope this hasn't been asked, but how do I set up an ato with a sensor in my reservoir? I have a sensor in my tank that senses when water goes in, but I don't want to burn out my pump so I'm putting a flat switch in the bottom of my reservoir and I don't want the pump to turn on if it is empty.

im Pretty sure if I remember correctly their is a ato company that has that feature already . Not sure the name but hopefully some else can chime in and give it !!

The ato disable feature should address the burnout concern . Is that not workable for you ?
