Reef pi optical sendor

Does anyone know of an optical sensor that works with reef pi? I know Rob has them but shipping is $17. Robs products are well worth paying shipping for but I just can't see paying that to ship 2 sensors. Not his fault, it's the shipping companies.

I got a couple off of Amazon and neither work, they shut the pump off when there is no water present. As soon as I unplug them the pump starts back up.

Do you have a link to the ones you buy? Maybe the wiring is different on those.
