Reef-pi to control wavemakers via wifi ?

new wifi controlled pumps have dedicated application.
Is it possible for Reef-pi to replace the application? to connect to the device via WIFI and control the speed and timings etc?
without the 0-10v PWN signal tempering, cutting wires etc...

one objective is to link between the food feeder operation and the pump. of course I can set the time exactly right, but what if the clock is wrong etc..

depends on the pump. If there is a know way (via software, api or via hardware control signal), then we can comment whether its feasible or not. else .. we are out of luck
