I bought one of the WYSIWYG wrasses on the Reef PRO Store. I paid a very high premium because I was looking for a fully developed fish. They advertise the fish as a Supermale 4.75 inches. To my surprise, I received a wrasse about 4.1 inches in size. This is bad seller practice, they lie about the size of the fish. UPS delivered the fish at 5:30 PM , so I will need to acclimate this fish today and speak with them tomorrow to return him. I am very disappointed with this seller.

I contacted them and they said they do not accept returns even thought they lie about the size, so be aware of this seller's practices

I will keep you posted on the outcome.

Ahhh those policies. I still remember getting told by PayPal and credit card that they can’t do anything because it’s “their policy” and I chose to purchase from them. Sucks that you will be stuck with this, hope reefpro at the very minimum, give you considerable credit back (I didn’t get any for mine) that’s how they “work with you”

Heard Amex is the only one who will fight for you :)

4.1 vs 4.75? That’s not a crazy difference. Any vendor deals with a ton of fish.
I agree.
I see very little reason to make this big of a deal about it.
Then the name calling is uncalled for.

Sir, we do our absolute best to measure the fish as accurately as possible, however, you must understand it is more important that we do not stress or harm the fish in the process of doing so. Clearly stated on our website under terms and conditioning process: "WYSIWYG FISH ARE MEASURED AS AN ESTIMATE TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITY WITHOUT PUTTING THE FISH THROUGH ANY STRESS."

As you did, putting the fish on a piece of paper with a wooden ruler is extremely stressful and will probably cause the fish some harm.

We have offered to issue you a refund of $60 as we sell NON-WYSIWYG Golden Rhomboid Fairy Wrasses 4-5" for this amount, however you have refused.

As many of you know who have bought fish in the past from us, we care greatly about the health and well being of the animal, we do everything we can to make sure the measurements we provide are as accurate as possible without putting the fish through any stress or harm.

Was the fish delivered healthy and colorful?
This fish was absolutely beautiful and as you can even see in the photos of the fish stressed on the paper with the wooden ruler the fish is incredibly plump.

If you spent $500 on a fish (Wrasse), I wouldn't think .65" would make a difference. Then posted a pic of the fish with the ruler out of water, wanting a full refund... Agree with seller.

We have even offered to refund the buyer $60.... obviously that is not good enough.
